VerticL-PP Bagging System - Film Roll Change Over

Rennco Laundry bagging equipment utilizes centerfolded packaging material to produce a bag around your linen items (towels, shop rags, knitted/fitted sheets, etc.).

Watch and follow the video instructions showing step by step how to change a roll of poleythylene packaging material on the Model VerticL-PP Laundry Bagging System.

We will go over the process for replacing the film roll on the Renkill Model Vertical PP Dual Bagging System.

First, after removing the used inner cardboard cylinder, load the roll of film onto the film shaft with the open end of the film facing downward toward the bottom of the bar. Be sure to correctly position the film roll fully onto the roll arbor before proceeding. Place the film roll arbor at the top of the roll and tighten the wing nut to lock the roll in place.

Next, rotate the film roll shaft back to the vertical position, replace the security pin, and reattach the tension spring. Depending on the centerfold size, the material for your system may only have a bottom holder versus top and bottom.

Insert the end of the film between the vertical film rollers. The easiest way to begin the threading process is to insert the center-folded corner into the film rollers and use this corner to pull the rest of the film through. Separate the film webs so the film passes on either side of the static eliminator bar. Pull on the film so that enough excess is unrolled to be draped through the spreader wheeled mint and reach the film puller.

Begin the threading process by tucking in the center-folded edge of the film between the film spreader wheelment and the aluminum backplate for the infeed area. Tug the film down on each side of the wheelment to help work the film through the spreading area. The center fold of the film should essentially reverse fold direction and drape down along the inside of the wheelment plate. The open ends of the film drape around the wheelment and fall between the wheelment and chute doors.

Rotate the infeed chute up on its hinge to access the film puller.

The two open corners of the film are put together and the film is tucked into the film roller.

Next, close the infeed chute guard that was open.

Finally, go to the operator panel and press the fault reset button, then the reset control power button. Touch the manual film feed jog button to advance the film, then return to the cycle start position and press Auto Cycle. The system is now ready for operation.

The film replacement process is now complete.
