Monthly Routine Maintenance

For the best long term use of your Rennco bagging and VFFS machinery, make sure to follow our maintenance guide:

• Check seal bars for damage
  
• Grease bearing blocks'

For monthly maintenance, begin by ensuring the power and air are locked out. First, check the seal bars for any damage to the coating and replace them if needed. To inspect the blades, remove the bolts from the top heater jaw plate and take the plate off. Inspect the horizontal blade and look down into the seal area to view the vertical blade. If there is no damage and the seal bars meet in the corner, indicating they are aligned, you can reassemble the plate and proceed.

If the blade needs to be changed, remove the bolts from the horizontal and vertical seal bar frame. Disconnect the heater cables from the junction box, open the jaws, and remove the seal bar frame. Change the blades and reverse the steps to reinstall the seal bar frame back into the machine.

Second, check that all bearing blocks in both the jaw and seal bar areas are greased with lightweight grease. Ensure all lines are connected to the fittings. Grease the central lube ports with one pump of grease to maintain proper lubrication and functionality.
