Rennco Introduces All Electric Vertical Packagers

September 8, 2004

Rennco is pleased to exhibit two new all electric vertical packager models at Pack Expo 2004; the E-Pac and the E-501SF. These two new machines utilize the latest in operator interface/PLC technology and feature servo drive film feed and servo drive seal assembly operation.

The E-Pac features a Xycom Proface operator interface which controls all machine operations eliminating the need for an independent PLC. It has a 2" x 2" up to 14" x 20" bag size capacity with a 7" wide seal opening. This machine is compact, versatile, and mobile with no air required, only a 120V electrical outlet. We will display two E-Pac models at PackExpo, one making point-of-purchase bags in polyethylene; the other, a stainless steel model with a stainless tunnel, for shrink wrapping.

The E-501SF features an Allen Bradley Micrologix PLC for greater expansion capability. It has a 2" x 2" up to 18" x 36" bag size capacity with a 9.5" wide seal opening. It also requires no air, only a 240V electrical outlet. At PackExpo, this packager will be bagging items in a 3 mil PVC film for retail display.

All Rennco vertical packagers are capable of sealing polyethylene, polyolefin, and PVC films from 0.5 mil to 4.0 mil and are equipped with light screen cycling systems and interlocked perimeter guarding.

The latest Hugo Beck Flexo horizontal wrapper, incorporating several new features, will also be exhibited.
